US Immigration Vaccines Requirements

US Vaccine requirements

Age 65 and older

Tetanus (Td or Tdap)- record of up to date vaccination (within the last 10 years)

Varicella (chicken pox) - history of disease, proof of immunity, or record of vaccination

Pneumococcal - record of Pneumovax 23 

Influenza (Flushot) - during flu season - October to March 

Covid-19 vaccine - completed series (approved by WHO or FDA)

Age 18 - 64

 

Tetanus (Td or Tdap)- record of up to date vaccination (within the last 10 years)

MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) - record of 2 vaccinations, proof of immunity, or recent (within 1 month) booster ( MMR not required if born in 1956 or earlier)

Varicella (chicken pox) - history of chicken pox, proof of immunity, or record of vaccination

Hepatitis B (age 18-59) - record of completed series, proof of immunity, or recent (within 1 month) vaccination

Influenza (Flushot) - during flu season - October to March 

Covid-19 vaccine - completed series (approved by WHO or FDA)

Age 11 - 17

Tetanus - Tdap booster required after 11th birthday (as per CDC)

Polio (IPV) - completion of primary series , or recent (within 2 months) vaccination 

MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) - record of 2 vaccinations, proof of immunity, or recent (within 1 month) vaccination

Hepatitis A - completion of age appropriate 2 or 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity 

Hepatitis B - completion of age appropriate 2 or 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity 

Meningococcal - record of Men-C-ACYW 

Varicella (chicken pox) - history of chicken pox, proof of immunity, record of 2 dose vaccination, or recent (within 2 months) vaccination

Influenza (Flushot) - during flu season - October to March 

Covid-19 vaccine - completed series (approved by WHO or FDA)

Age 7-10

Tetanus - Tdap booster required if primary (5 dose) DTaP/Tdap series incomplete 

Polio (IPV) - completion of primary series , or recent (within 2 months) vaccination 

MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) - record of 2 vaccinations, proof of immunity, or recent (within 1 month) vaccination

Hepatitis A - completion of age appropriate 2 or 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity  

Hepatitis B - completion of 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity 

Varicella (chicken pox) - history of chicken pox, proof of immunity, record of 2 dose vaccination, or recent (within 2 months) vaccination

Age 6 years and under

Tetanus - up to date primary DTaP/Tdap series, or recent (within 2 months) catch up vaccination 

Polio (IPV) - completion of primary series , or recent (within 2 months) catch up vaccination 

MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) - completion of primary series or up to date vaccination

Rotavirus - required age 2-6 months

Hib - completion of primary series or up to date vaccination

Hepatitis A - completion of age appropriate 2 or 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity - required age 12 months and older

Hepatitis B - completion of 3 dose series, recent vaccination (next dose not due yet), or proof of immunity 

Varicella (chicken pox) - up to date vaccination (age 1-6 years), history of chicken pox, proof of immunity

Pneumococcal (Pneu-C-13) - completion of primary series or up to date vaccination

Influenza (Flushot) - during flu season - October to March (age 6months and older)

Covid-19 vaccine - completed primary series (approved by WHO or FDA) required age 6 months and older

Medical Contraindications to vaccinations

If your physician determines you have a medical contraindication to a vaccine, please bring medical documentation from your physician.

Detail your services

If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.

Please see your doctor before your examination to check that you fulfill these vaccine requirements

Please bring records of your immigration vaccines and immunity lab tests (if required) to your visit for your us visa medical exam.
